There are many types of T1 lines. A T1 line is simply a high speed digital connection and what it is you connect it to will determine the type of T1 it is. An Internet T1 is a direct high speed dedicated connection to the internet. T1s can provide local, long distance, internet, etc. based on your voice or data needs.

Integrated T1
An Integrated T1 line provides voice and internet on the same digital circuit. With this service, you can decide how many of the T1 connection's 24 channels will be reserved for voice calls, and what's left is used for internet or choose a service that will automatically and dynamically allocate your bandwidth based on your priorities.

Bonded T1 Services
With new technology it a common option to combine or "bond" multiple T1s together to provide a total throughput of 3 to 12 Mbps of bandwidth. If one of the T1s should fail, the data is automatically routed over the remaining T1s, achieving redundant backup.
